Outdoor Arena
Our outdoor Arena is an extremely large sand school area which can be used by all liveries and is also used, in the better weather for, lessons, teaching and derby shows.

The outdoor arena has a full set of jumps which also include:

  • Derby Bank
  • Open Ditch
  • Water Jump
  • Devils Dyke
  • Table Top Bank
All of which offer great opportunity and practice to those wanting to experience some of the aspects of cross country riding.

Indoor School
We have an indoor arena which is 80 metres by 20 metres and is well lit for riding in bad weather and in winter time.  It is used mainly for riding, teaching and lessons but can be used by liveries if not in prior use.  It is also used in the winter time for the Tuesday and Thursday group jumping lessons.
Training Shed
We are also in the process of erecting a training shed to the rear of the main yard which will be used for beginner riders and also for the breaking of horses.
Beach
There is easy access to the beach from our yard and in the summer when the tide is out it makes way for very good hacking opportunities.

Facilities

At Edenside Riding School & Livery Yard we believe we offer facilities that are second to none which is why we are currently remodeling the stable are to incorporate more than 50 new stables with automatic water drinkers to give our customers horses the best service possible. Edenside Riding School & Livery Yard is fortunate to have excellent facilities. Our indoor and outdoor schools have been resurfaced.

  • We also have a full set of show-jumps for shows during the spring and summer months, including gates, fillers, walls and more
  • From June until October we will be running an Unaffiliated Derby Competitions for ponies and horses alternatively with Trophy Derby in October.
  • The Derby’s will be situated in the Outdoor School and warm up will be in the back paddock area.
  • There is plenty of parking in the car-park.
  • We will also be running regular show-jumping shows over the summer starting from June.

Our riding facilities are also available for hire for people to bring their own horses.

The outdoor arena is also available for Private Hire for outside clients
at a cost of £30.00 per 3/4 hour. (Subject to availability)
