Edenside Riding School is situated on the outskirts of the town of St Andrews, located in some of Fifes most stunning countryside commanding a spectacular position with eye-catching views over the Eden estuary. We have been running in our present location for over thirty years and we are now one of the most prevalent livery yard and riding school in the North East.
Set at the mouth of the river Eden in Fife, within the picturesque Eden estuary, Edenside is a livery yard and riding school which provides services & tuition for adults and children of all ages and abilities. We have a variety of friendly ponies and horses to suit all levels of rider, from complete beginner through to advanced show jumping and equestrian career students.
At Edenside we also sell horses and have an exemplary reputation for finding the right horse for you, whatever your requirements may be. At Edenside we pride ourselves in the fact that we have, over many experienced years, shaped some exceptional ponies and horses into the extremely competitive world of show jumping.
Edenside Sunshine our 5 year old pony mare, ridden by Asha Narsapur, who in September 1998 at Wembly Arena won the Junior Newcomers’ Championship and our stallion Edenside Rikki (by Secundus) who was accredited as a Silver BSJA Stallion based on his Grade A performance winnings which are to name only a couple of our many success stories over the years. Since becoming established Raymond Gatherum has seen many of his ponies, horses and riders go on and experience strong careers in the equestrian field.
